A variety of techniques to improve your body’s shape and proportions.

Laser-Treatment-ProceduresA body lift is a surgical procedure that tightens, firms and raises the skin located on the abdomen, waist, groin, hips, buttocks and thighs. Repositioning of the surrounding tissue and removal of excess skin are performed to create a body contour that is both more attractive and youthful in appearance.

  • Tighten your skin
  • Eliminate stretch marks

Who can benefit from a body lift?

People who have body lifts performed normally have large amounts of skin that hang down and are loose on several leg and trunk areas. The ultimate goal of the procedure is to give the patient’s body a normal appearance once the elasticity of the skin has been lost because of age-related or weight loss changes. However, major fat deposits can not be removed by a body lift. Before considering a body lift procedure, a person should be near or at their ideal weight.

Who is a good candidate for a body lift procedure?

Non-smokers who are able to maintain their weight and who are in good overall health. The people who have this procedure performed also need to have expectations about their results that are realistic. If a woman is thinking about getting pregnant, she should delay having a body lift. This is because the results of the surgery in the abdominal region can be seriously compromised by a pregnancy.

Pre-operative considerations

Patients will have pre-op lab tests performed to verify their health status. Smokers will be asked to stop smoking long before the surgery. Patients may also be asked to either start or stop taking certain medications.

Recovery and downtime

The majority of patients will be able to return to their jobs after two or three weeks. However, they will be limited to non-strenuous activities while on the job for at least four to six weeks. Incisions from the surgery must not be exposed to extreme motion, abrasion or force during this period of time.

Complications and risks

  • Recurrent sagging or looseness of skin
  • Permanent or temporary loss/change of skin sensation
  • Persistent fluid accumulation or swelling
  • Deep vein thrombosis
  • Blood clots
  • Fat or skin tissue death
  • Skin discoloration and/or scarring that are unfavorable
  • Results that are not pleasing visually and need to be corrected surgically
  • Pain that is persistent
  • Pulmonary and cardiac complications
  • Anesthesia risks
  • Wound separation or poor wound healing
  • Hematoma or excessive bleeding

Seeing results

The majority of swelling should go away during the first four to six weeks after the surgery. However, the patient may not see the final result until as much as one or two years later. The contours of the patient’s body will be improved permanently. This is assuming that he or she doesn’t gain or lose a large amount of weight. There will be an eventual loss of firmness that will occur due to factors such as gravity and age.

The scar on the patient will extend around the complete circumference of their body. Surgeons are experienced at placing the scar in an inconspicuous manner. This will allow a patient to wear a bathing suit without the scar being visible. Scars will continue to fade and flatten out for up to a year or more after surgery.

Brachioplasty

Brachioplasty – Miami Plastic Surgery

Brachioplasty is a procedure that removes excess skin getting rid of the hanging appearance of the back part of the arms, which is formed due to aging or weight loss.

Candidates

This type of procedure is only done to people who have serious problems of sagging and accumulation of fat in the arms.

Recovery

This surgery is not painful, nor is the postoperative because we supply the adequate analgesics. The duration can vary between 1-2 hours, and does not require subsequent hospitalization. We practice this surgery as an outpatient procedure. Usually the patients are very happy because they can wear different styles of clothing that they could not use before.

buttock-augmentation-miami

Buttock Augmentation – Miami Plastic Surgery

The most common type of shape-modifying injections to the bottom is the “Brazilian Butt Lift”, Buttock Augmentation although the procedure is also called fat injections, fat transfer, or fat grafting. It usually consists of a combination of liposuction around the buttocks and many injections of fat into the buttocks. The fat is harvested by liposuction from the patient’s buttocks, abdomen or elsewhere. The fat is processed and purified before it is re-injected. Depending on the amount of augmentation needed, the patient may need to undergo a significant number of injections, which are made at various sites and depths in the buttocks.

Buttock Augmentation – Fat Transfer with PRP (platelet rich plasma)

Fat is withdrawn from the patient in one of three ways: with a syringe that has a large-bore needle or with a liposuction cannula. The fat is prepared according to the practitioners preferred method and then injected into the patient recipient site.

The preparation process clears the donor fat of blood, pain killers and other unwanted ingredients that could cause infections or other undesirable side effects. Moreover, some physicians have found that human fat outside the body is incredibly delicate. One researcher found that, to obtain viable fat, the needle withdrawing the fat can’t be too narrow, the liposuction cannula can’t have too span a vacuum pressure and the centrifuge used to clear debris from the donated tissue can’t spin too rapidly. Another researcher found that vacuum pressure on the liposuction machine could not be higher than 700 mmHg.

Buttock Augmentation at Seduction Cosmetic Center uses the most advanced technologies to selectively remove fat and transfer it to a part of body. This innovative technique removes viable, intact fat cells, to enhance various parts of your body. You can mold, sculpt and rejuvenate your body without the use of implants or injectable.

Studies have shown that the combination of PRP with fat cells have a faster healing time and fat cell retention over time.

Hair Transplant

Surgical hair transplant techniques include punch grafts, mini-grafts, micro-grafts, slit grafts, and strip grafts for a more modest change in hair fullness. Flaps, tissue-expansion and scalp-reduction are procedures are best for patients who desire a more dramatic change.

  • Natural looking hair in areas that have lost hair
  • With recent advances in technology, hair loss can be slowed or stopped, and there are remedies for thinning hair and baldness!

Hair Transplant Introduction

Hair loss and balding are often an unexpected and unwanted part of life. Fortunately, with recent advances in technology, hair loss can be slowed or stopped, and there are remedies for thinning hair and baldness. Hair transplants are an effective, permanent solution for replacing hair in suitable candidates. Hair transplant techniques have been in use since the early 1950s. However, unlike early procedures that were known to yield hair in clumps, or which grew at odd angles, hair transplant techniques today have evolved to highly precise procedures that use much smaller implants and produce uniform, natural looking hair in areas that have lost hair.

Out with the old – in with the new!

Gone are the days of unnatural looking hair transplants that resemble rows of corn or the unsightly doll’s head look. Using today’s most advanced and refined techniques, the specialist at Seduction Cosmetic Center achieve results that look so natural, even your hair dresser won’t be able to tell you’ve had hair restoration surgery.

HowHair Transplants Work

To understand how hair transplants work, it helps to understand some basic hair anatomy. A typical hair consists of the shaft, which is the part you can see above the skin, and the hair follicle beneath the surface. Hair tends to grow in small bundles, which are called follicular units. A follicular unit consists of 1-4 hair follicles with full-sized hairs, 1-2 fine vellus hairs, sebaceous glands, a small muscle, nerves, and blood vessels. Each follicular unit is surrounded by a band of collagen, and these units can be seen as independent structures when a cross-section is viewed under a microscope. At the surface, follicular units appear as a tiny group of hairs growing together. Hair transplants relocate intact follicular units from a safe donor zone at the back and sides of the head to balding or thinning areas. The follicles harvested from the donor areas are not genetically inclined to go bald, and once they are transplanted, they will continue to produce hair throughout a patient’s lifetime.

Types of Transplants

A variety of hair transplant techniques exist, and two of the more popular techniques today are what are known as micro-minigrafting and follicular unit transplants. Both of these processes can be done by dissecting a small strip of hair follicles from the donor site. Follicular unit transplants can also be harvested in a process called follicular unit extraction (FUE), wherein a one millimeter or smaller diameter punch is used to remove individual follicular units. When harvesting follicles from a strip, the key difference between micro-minigrafting and follicular unit transplants is that the micro-mini grafts are hand dissected into minigrafts of one to six hairs with skin between the follicles, whereas the follicular unit method takes the strip under a microscope to remove interfollicular hairless skin and dissect individual follicular units containing one to four hairs.

Recovery and Results

The scalp contains a large number of vessels, and immediately after the transplantation, the surrounding tissue begins nourishing the transplanted follicles. You should be able to return to work and most normal activities the day following your procedure, but should refrain from strenuous exercise and heavy lifting until any non-absorbable sutures in the donor site are removed in 7 to 12 days. As healing begins, some crusts may develop at the base of the grafts. After several days these can be gently removed while shampooing. Most transplanted hairs will be shed between 2 to 4 weeks after surgery, but the follicles remain, and hair that has been transplanted may require as long as 3 to 5 months to begin growing. Once hair growth begins, there will be a progressive cosmetic improvement, which will continue for up to 12 to 15 months after surgery.

Liposuction-e1429279217176

Liposuction

Liposuction which is also known as lipoplasty, is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures performed.Liposuction works by removing excess fat tissue, which reshapes body contours and creates a slimmer appearance. Liposuction can be performed alone, but can also be performed with other procedures such as the tummy tuck. Liposuction is not an effective treatment for cellulite or obesity.

Liposuction procedures may last as little as one hour or as long as five hours depending on the extent of the procedure and the technique that is used. You may experience some pain, swelling, and bruising following the procedure. Your physician may suggest that you wear a compression garment for two to six weeks, which will be an important part of your recovery process. You will likely be able to return to work in a few days and resume normal activity in approximately one to two weeks.

How does liposuction work?
Liposuction is performed using the tumescent technique, in which fluid containing a saline solution, lidocaine (a local anesthetic) and epinephrine (helps to contract blood vessels and limit blood loss), is injected subcutaneously prior to the removal of fat. This method allows fat to be removed more easily, reduces blood loss, and provides anesthesia both during and after the procedure. The scars from the incision used for liposuction are small (less than 1 cm), and are placed in locations that are hidden from view. Through these incisions a narrow tube or cannula is inserted and used to vacuum the fat layer deep beneath the skin.

Benefits of Liposuction

  • Fat removal that improves overall health
  • Targets resistant problem areas
  • Reduces the appearance of cellulite
  • Contours the body

Mini Tummy Tuck

A mini-tummy tuck can improve the appearance of excess fat and loose, stretched out skin in the lower abdominal area. This procedure is less invasive than a tummy tuck. The length of the incision involved in a mini tummy tuck depends on the amount of skin to be removed; therefore it will be smaller than the incision required by a traditional tummy tuck.

Candidates

The best candidates for this procedure are people who have a small amount of abdominal skin to be removed and do not have a significantly protruding abdominal muscle wall or extensive fatty tissue.

Recovery

This procedure has a shorter recovery time than the full tummy tuck. Patients are usually able to return to work within a few days but should refrain from strenuous activities for a few weeks. It will be necessary to wear a compression garment during the healing period, which may last about two to three weeks after surgery.

In our center we have a team of surgeons specialized in this procedure guaranteeing an excellent result.

Mommy Makeover

What is a Mommy Makeover?

A growing number of women are undergoing mommy makeovers – plastic surgery procedures that restore their post-pregnancy bodies.

  • Tighten your skin
  • Get cellulite treatments
  • Eliminate stretch marks

About the procedure:

After having a child, your body undergoes a number of changes. At times, many are not able to get their body back to what it once was, which is where amommy makeover comes into play. It involves a number of different surgeries to help transform the body and restore it to its pre-pregnancy state. Even though pregnancy is a natural event, it brings numerous changes to a woman’s body. These changes attribute to excess weight and fluid in the body. They leave behind deposits of fat that resist dietary changes and exercise routines.

A “Mommy Makeover” may also maybe a combination of the following procedures:

  • Breast Augmentation
  • Breast Lift
  • Tummy Tuck/li>
  • Mini Tummy Tuck
  • Liposuction
  • Vaginal Rejuvenation
  • Vein Removal

Some of the following procedures are ideal for those looking for a mommy makeover:

  • Breast Augmentation – Women who have disproportionate or uneven breasts are the main ones who undergo this procedure. After giving birth or breastfeeding, women may end up with sagging breasts. This procedure can help to correct any issues with your breasts from childbirth.
  • Breast Lift – When you give birth, many women end up with sagging or lose breasts. Through a breast lift, your breasts will be placed back into their original position and the sagging will be gone. General anesthesia is administered before the procedure occurs, and you can expect to spend two to three hours in surgery. Recovery periods will vary from one patient to the next, but it all depends on how extensive the procedure is for the individual patient. Expect an average of two weeks or more before returning to work.
  • Tummy Tuck – After childbirth, the muscles and skin in your stomach become stretched and bulge. When you have a tummy tuck, it works to help eliminate excess fat and skin to provide you with a tighter stomach. The procedure itself takes about three to four hours, while the recovery itself will be largely dependent upon how loose the muscles were before surgery and how taut the skin was beforehand. On average, you can return to work in a couple weeks up to one month.
  • Liposuction – After childbirth, many women end up with excess fat deposits that they want to eliminate. It seems as if diet and exercise doesn’t work to shed the last few pounds. Thanks to liposuction, it works to help eliminate those fat stores and restore your body to its original condition and shed the last few pounds you have been struggling with for some time.

Thigh lift (Thighplasty)

thigh lift reshapes the thighs by reducing excess skin, and in some cases fat, resulting in smoother skin and better-proportioned contours of the thighs and lower body.

  • Restore skin elasticity in the thighs
  • Reduce sagging in the inner or outer thigh
  • Firmer, more youthful-looking and more proportionate body

About the Procedure

A thigh lift is a relatively simple outpatient procedure used to eliminate excess sagging skin on the upper thighs and create smoother, tighter legs. It can be performed alone or in conjunction with other body lift procedures.

It is important to note that a thigh lift is not a weight loss solution and is not recommended for patients looking to remove excess fat. However, if you are looking to remove a small amount of bothersome fat on the thigh area, liposuction can be utilized during your thigh lift procedure to provide you with your desired result.

Depending on the extent of skin to be lifted and removed along the location of the area you are looking to enhance, your surgeon will determine the best location of your incision. Incisions are made in areas as discrete as possible and can often be hidden by natural folds in the skin and undergarments. Typically when performing a thigh lift, an incision is made from the groin area along the natural fold of the skin around the back part of the thigh, addressing concerns along the inner and back part of the thigh. The underlying tissue is then lifted, reshaped and tightened; held together with deep internal sutures. Excess skin is removed and the skin along the incision site is closed.

After the procedure it is expected to experience swelling, bruising and soreness during the first week following your procedure. Side effects will dissipate over the next few weeks. Following the procedure patients should refrain from strenuous activities for 3-4 weeks.

tummy-tuck

Tummy Tuck

A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is one of the most common cosmetic surgery procedures performed. Often, factors such as multiple pregnancies and genetics can contribute to the development of loose skin, fat deposits, and stretch marks in the abdominal region. A full tummy tucks works by removing loose skin, fat deposits, and stretch marks from the abdominal region. In addition, vertical abdominal muscles that have been stretched and weakened over time are tightened, restoring the appearance of a firmer, flatter abdomen.

Tummy tuck procedures can be performed alone, but are often performed with liposuction to further improve body contours. The length of a tummy tuck procedure can vary depending on the extent of tissue removal, or the necessity for an additional procedure such as liposuction. However, most full tummy tuck procedures last approximately two to five hours. You will most likely have to wear a type of compression garment, which is similar to a girdle for several weeks. As with any major surgical procedure, you will likely experience pain, bruising, and swelling, most of which will subside in a few weeks. Most patients are able to return to work in one to three weeks time. However, it may take six to eight weeks before you feel able to return to full normal activity including heavy lifting and strenuous exercise

Women and men who have a protruding bellyloose hanging abdominal skin and weak abdominal muscles are candidates for a full Tummy Tuck.

Mini-Abdominoplasty, also known as a Mini-Tummy Tuck, is reserved for those who have only a limited amount of loose skin or stretch marks in the lower abdomen, or above the public bone.

With abdominoplasty, the abdominal wall muscles are tightened and excess fatty tissue and skin are removed to improve the body contour. The goal is a narrower, flatter abdomen. Realistic expectations are important. A tummy tuck is not a substitute for weight loss.

vaginal-rejuvention

Vaginal Rejuvenation

Due to difficult vaginal childbirth, multiple vaginal childbirths, or sometimes simply due to aging, the vaginal muscles can lose strength, tone, tear, stretch, and most of all, lose control and support. The vaginal rejuvenation procedure aims to tighten lax muscles and supporting tissues in the vagina. This will achieve a narrower and tighter vaginal canal and smaller opening; therefore, increasing and/or restoring sexual satisfaction.

Candidates

The best candidates for this procedure are women who have had children or have loose vaginal muscles due to aging. Also women who want to improve their sexual experience.

Recovery

The recovery for this procedure is quick; the majority of patients are on their feet and walking around within a few days. It usually only takes a few short weeks for the results of the surgery to become obvious. Vaginal rejuvenation patients must avoid sexual intercourse for a period of at least four to six weeks.
