Dr. Eric Valladares, MD received his undergraduate training at the University of Miami, majoring in Biology and Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry and Foreign Languages. Dr. Eric Valladares, MD attended Howard College of Medicine in Washington D.C. and completed his general surgery residency at Howard University Hospital. After his residency, Dr. Eric Valladares, MD worked as a private practice surgeon gaining experience in a broad spectrum of patient care. In 2004 Dr. Eric Valladares, MD decided to obtain additional training in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and Bariatric Surgery in a private practice fellowship. Dr. Eric Valladares, MD performs advanced laparoscopic, endoscopic and robotic surgery in Miami and has performed over 1,000 laparoscopic procedures.

Dr. Eric Valladares, MD is an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Society of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery. Dr. Eric Valladares, MD is the Director of Bariatric Surgery at Larkin Community Hospital.
